Every condition has the same three bones
What Claude does each turn.

The stop test.
Binary and verifiable. A score confirmed by an independent grader. A consecutive-pass count. Every criterion re-derived from source, not re-asserted from memory.
The hard cap.
A ceiling so it never loops forever: 5 passes for writing, 2 clean passes for visual bugs, 3 rounds for explore, 12 turns for test suites.

Independent grader scores every pass. Stop at >=95 confirmed cold. Cap: 5 calls.
Fix and Verify
Investigate before touching code. Verify every 5 min. Stop at 2 consecutive clean passes.

Coding Tests
Fix until all tests pass. Scope guard closes Claude's shortcuts. Cap: 12 turns.
